my wife just came home after two weeks in haiti. she served as a nurse this time but as always Jesus was the reason she went.
Cindy’s second day in haiti woke her up with an after shock of 6.something.
(what are the odds of getting a patient in haiti who is the brother of a co-worker in florida?)
SHE delivered 5 babies. new life amongst so much death
another aftershock shook the building they were using as a hospital/ All the medical people, nurses, docs, etc… ran out to safety. My wife screamed and followed after she realized why the ground was shaking.
i guess she realized that the patients could not leave with them because most of them had their legs amputated that day or the day before. Cindy said that she could not leave them alone, without help, hope, or someone to look after them.
This is an un-edited video shot by Cindy after the quake explaining what she did.
i am proud of my wife. Listen to these people with no home, lost limbs, no hope of a country functioning with basics anytime soon, singing and worshiping Jesus with my wife.
Did i tell you my wife was an addict? thats right. Smoked crack, drank like a fish. She had a bail bondsman on retainer.
there is always hope. Recovery is possible with Jesus Christ!!!
You are Loved, so pass it on…
Brother Frankie and sister Cindy

So much devastation and pain it's amazing how they are still able to smile through it all.
Cindy came home with memories to last a lifetime. She did some pretty incredible things as did all the other relief workers. Glad she made it home safe.
