I cannot say I love you and then pretend that your needs do not matter to me. Love cannot be ignored. Love, in its very nature, demands sacrifice.

My son anthony has just studied Love in corinthians. I see God speaking to him.
But does he understand Love as a verb?
As work?
as sacrifice?
do I understand?
Time to pray and see if I am lying when i say I love you Lord.
or I love you Cindy.
Or when I use my siggy, "you are Loved".... be blessed

My husband and I read "The Road Less Traveled" by F. Scott Peck as we drove from place to place on our honeymoon. I still remember some of the core things he wrote about these 19 years later. I think of it so often these days, it is probably time to read it again. I do remember that love has a lot to do with making choices of actions that promote the spiritual growth of the person you love.
